Flask [realia] : Traveler's Companion Flask 1857-1869

This glass flask is quart-sized. Inscribed on the obverse is "Traveler's" ("s" is smaller) in an arc above and "Companion" ("A" has no crossbar) in reverse arc below, with a star ornament formed by a circle of eight triangles around a plain center about 1.5 cm in diameter. On the reverse side is "Ravenna" above the star and "Glass Co" below. The flask's form is a long slender body with a smooth base and smooth edges (vertical mold seam) curving gently to the rounded shoulder. The neck is tooled with a flat ring below a thickened plain lip.
